So I grabbed some old sweats and made them a teeny bit more form fitting (especially in the crouch area since these are men's sweats) and I made these:



My mom wanted to get rid of this:



But I loved the print too much and I saw some potential in it. So i went to town with it. Taa daaa!





And yes those are rad pockets.

This one was another one of my mom's old 80's dresses. Oh my goodness there was so much fabric. What was up with the baggy look?! I forgot to take a before picture, but it was huge with sleeves and it went all the way to the floor! So I just hacked the sleeves off, cut it a little, and altered the waist a bit.

Great Cali Garage Sale

Wow, our great state is stooping kinda low. Due to our sad financial situation, our Govenor is holding a garage sale. Really? I mean it sounds bad because you imagine like old quilts or outdated lamps, right? It's not that bad, but the stuff they are getting rid of is pretty random. The Govenator is even autographing some stuff thinking that it will sell for a higher price. Self-righteous much? Anyways, there are cars, motorcycles, office equipement and these things:

















Really? Who is keeping these?

This Bianchi is pretty sweet though but I bet it will be swooped up in a second.

Um, pretty questionable. I just imagine all the legal assistants taking up a room in the Capital and jazzercising away.

I guess, one state's trash is another person's treasure.

designtoinspire.net showcased some of Mark Bustyn's work the other day. Um I need a dressing room like this in the near future. I can just forgo the bed altogether. Who sleeps anyways with shoes like that?!

So I have a thing for well dressed children. Remember this post? Are these not the cutest clothes? These are from Olive Juice. There biggest size is a size 16 and a XXL. I'm kind of lightweight thinking that I might fit and might just order something. Is that crazy? Maybe. But they are too cute. I even ordered a catalogue. If I can't wear them, at least I can be inspired by their outfits.

Addict

I think I have a serious problem. I might just be addicted to shoes. I don't know what it is about them but they get to me every time. It's especially bad when I'm telling myself I have to save money. I'm obviously not controlling myself well enough.












I think I need to return one. But I don't know which one I love more. Please help! Which one do you like more?

Shopping List

I need to save money but when I have some jingling in my pocket I will get this from Big Tree. Why? Because it's beautiful and leather and brown and looks like it might just be able to hold my life with ease and style.

Today's Things I Love

Oh my gosh, you guys don't even know how many sticks I have around my house. My dad insists on saving them and now I know why! For these hangers! Amazing. Will try to make some of these.

Also, I need more wall space. First I had too much and now I have too little. Oh woe is me.
