This skirt used to be down to my ankles. Why? Who knows really. My mom said she used to wear it to disco. Uhh I didn't ask because 1) I don't want to imagine my mom getting it at a club and 2) I don't know how anyone could dance in a skirt that long. But I saw potential in it and saved it for about 5 + years.
I finally took it out of hiding, cut and hemmed it et voila. A new skirt for me to wear for New Year's Eve! This wasn't the exact outfit and I'm missing all the accessories but I wanted to show you guys the skirt.

Oh yes, it has pockets! I love pockets.
