TD took me to the aquarium for my birthday! It was soo fun, perhaps even beating out Disneyland. *Gasp! For reals dudes. Such a great weekend.

Love is a mystery that I will never claim to know that much about. But things are better than they have ever been. Obstacle came, we got through it, it's a lot better on the other side. I can't deny that I love this man.

Seriously. You should do it.

Funny story. I probably wouldn't be in the greatest relationship I have ever had the chance of experiencing had he not come to my graduation and kissed me. It was our last chance to see each other. He was moving back to SoCal. I didn't think he would come. It was 7 in the morning. But he did. Surprised us both really. But it sealed the deal. Sealed with a kiss maybe? Ok, that was lame. But had it never happened, what we had would have fizzled out.

So do it. You never know what life has in store.

Here’s a few that caught my attention:

2. Sometimes guys flirt with you or pay attention to you because it makes them feel good about themselves. (Hey, we do it, too.)

A lot of females get upset when a guy they are interested talk to other girls or make themselves available to other girls. We need to realize that just because we do certain things, such as flirt to get our way, that guys do the same things. We can’t hold ourselves above them just because we feel that we deserve his undivided attention. So next time ladies, you get upset about something like that, take a look at yourself and observe what you are doing too.

19. Your wants and needs are just as important as his, and if you don't express them because you think it will scare him away, then you're saying you don't count as much as he does.

Oh man, this is something I only realized maybe in the past year. In my past relationships I was always afraid that if I said something confrontational that it would scare him away. So I kept things to myself and acted all tough like nothing bothered me. In the end, it always blew up in my face. So I have learned to be open and honest about how I’m feeling, whether things are amazing and I want to tell them that they are, or if something is bothering me. So far, in terms of relationships, it has been my greatest lesson learned.

25. Women love attention. A guy needs to be pretty crazy about you in order for him to pay enough attention to make you happy long-term.

For reals ladies. Show your man some love. If he makes you happy, don’t forget to make him happy.

I rarely post about the details of my not-so-intricate life. I'd like to think I'm fairly private about certain things.

But I cannot wait to see my boy.

Just the idea of trivial outings such as grabbing coffee or going to dinner is like a dream to me. Something as small as whispering "I love you" or cuddling is something I never take for granted when the opportunity arises. These are little things that I hope you happy couples never take for granted because I know at one time in my life I did.
Long distance isn't something I chose and I don't know that I would want that for my friends but this challenge has made me come to appreciate all that this love has given me. For the moments that we have together, the 500 miles are minor detail.
